Speaker Jose C. De Venecia, Jr.
The Guest of Honor and Speaker is the Honorable Speaker Jose C. De Venecia, Jr., who played a major role in the establishment of the PSU-OUS by providing funding support for the first two years of operation of the system.
The whole day affair will kick- off with a Thanksgiving Mass followed by a Motorcade and a CD Presentation to be held simultaneously. The Opening Program immediately follows with the Hon. Speaker Jose C. De Venecia, Jr., as the Guest Speaker. On the same occasion, Cong. Amado T. Espino, Jr., of the 2nd District of Pangasinan will be giving his Message. He is one of the strong and dynamic partners of the PSU-OUS. During his time as the PNP Director of Pangasinan he initiated the conduct of the Leadership Training and Capability Building for Policemen in his jurisdiction in collaboration with the system.
The afternoon affair includes a Colloquium sponsored by the PSU-OUS Alumni Association thru the leadership of its Officers headed by Dr. Eladio A. Guevarra, its President and one of the Partners of the System in the offering of Masterate programs at the SPI, Antipolo Center.
Two prominent individuals from the education and government sector are invited as Speakers for the Colloquium which will be attended by the alumni and the current graduate students of the PSU-OUS.
Other activities include the Socials and Raffle Draw. As a culminating activity a Fellowship Night will be held where graduates and the current graduate students including the faculty and staff will have an opportunity to get together and renew friendships and acquaintances.
